Apart from Ah Chiang, Pang Kee and Soon Lee, there's one other good porridge place that I would frequent for breakfast, Joe Pork Porridge. During the weekend morning, the surrounding tables will be mostly taken up by Joe's clients. The popular porridge here's the pork porridge like the name suggest. If you like pig intestines, liver, there's the mixed pork porridge and for those like me who pick and choose pig particular parts to eat, Joe's also up to it. There's also fish and chicken meat to choose from. It's not all pork here. Like the porridge places that I've listed above, raw fish is also served here.
This time round, I had the minced pork with lean pork porridge for take away. I prefer the pork porridge here to Ah Chiang's. Somehow porridge taste better and more refreshing in the morning and I usually eat Joe's in the morning and Ah Chiang's at night. If you'd ask me, I'll say Joe's Porridge is as good as Pang Kee's and Soon Lee's.

I prefer Ah Chiang's for their fish head & fish belly porridge & Soon Lee for the pork porridge. Ironically, Ah Chiang's is better in the mornings haha.
Soon Lee has reopened after renovation! And Tiong Bahru Lien Fa Shui Jing Pau has been found at Block 112 Jalan Bukit Merah Market and Hawker Centre, stall #01-1654A. But Lien Fa is moving back to Alexandra after the hawker centre reopens in early Dec.
