Carpenter and Cook ... 'Lim Teh Jia Cake' for tea, coffee and desserts

We love to "Lim Teh Jia Cake", drink tea and eat cake so much so that we will travel to get to it. So that's exactly what we did when we traveled all the way from the South in search of Carpenter and Cook after lunch. Carpenter and Cook is a baker cum cafe that found a home along Lorong Kilat, a quiet street parallel to the busier Jalan Jurong Kechil.

It's a bakery, a cafe and a vintage home store where the chairs and the vintage items that came all the way from London are up for sale.

Carpenter and Cook is hidden behind dark glass panels and you'll need Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum to let you know that the cafe's opened for business.

Here's the chirpy, casual atmosphere as you step into Carpenter and Cook.
