A 20 minutes queuing got me this plate of vegetarian noodle/vermicelli with cabbage, mock char siew, mock goose and mock duck. I always like to get extra servings of their mock duck. Their mock duck and goose are fried to a golden brown crisp and many of Ruyi Yuan regulars like me would order extra to compliment the noodles that we ordered. More details in my previous post. |

Vegetarian noodles is one thing I will never tire of. This Ru Yi Yuan I must try! I notice there are a few Ru Yi Yuan stalls around. There's the famous one at Tanglin Halt, one at Bukit Batok, one at Tiong Bahru Food centre and I believe one at Ghim Moh food centre too. Are they all somewhat related?
My favorite vegetarian stall is at Clementi Central, but lately I found another really good one, Hong Yi Vegetarian at Yuhua Market & Hawker Centre. Their vegetarian beehoon is delicious, but recently they turned to only selling the beehoon on 1st & 15th, the other days they do more cooked food items. Queue was super long today!
Thanks for the tips! If you are down in Redhill and craving for vegetarian bee hoon, this is the stall to visit.
