At Block 81 Marine Parade Central, there's a coffee shop that I sometimes visit early in the morning before our groceries shopping. I would be eating the roti prata from Masala Tandoor. Their roti prata was just alright. It was only during lunch today that I discover what a gem of a briyani that Masala Tandoor serves. The rice was fragrant and not clammy and the curry gravies were flavorful yet not overwhelmingly spicy. The chicken chunks from my $4.50 economic set were really render. The additional egg coated with Chilli was a $0.50 extra. Masala Tandoor can be quite obscure to people passing by as the stall is tuck in one corner of the coffee shop behind a pillar. Nasi Briyani is certainly good here. I'm gonna try the naans freshly made from the tandoor oven next time. |
There's more details from an article written by Catherine Ling of Camemberu.
