The Bridge Restaurant and Bar ............... Ubud-Bali, Indonesia

The Bridge Restaurant, Grill and Bar is where we rest for lunch after a 2 hour drive from Jimbaran. This restaurant is perched at a ravine beside the bridge along Ubud's main road. It has 2 floors that is build along the ravine wall.

At the entrance of the restaurant at the top floor .............

Although a caucasian, Tonny, the owner and chef creates the creative culinary from places around Asia. The menu includes, Thai chicken pizza, Szechuan pancakes and so on. However, there's one dish that caught me and my companions. Babi Guling.

Babi Guling, roasted suckling pig, is a local Balinese food. Usually, this dish is served during dinner but Tonny prepare it especially for us since we drove 2 hours just to come to his restaurant for lunch. The Babi Guling special set lunch menu is RP 90000 per set. Here's what I had eaten;

Satay appetizer ..........

Fried long beans with coconut ............

Babi Guling, roast suckling pig. Crispy skin and tender meat! ..........

3 types of rice is served to us, white rice, tumeric rice, and unpolished rise.

The set meal comes with a glass of magaritas to cool us off the hot afternoon sun. If you are going for the weekend dinner, please pre order the Babi Guling to avoid disappointment.
